May, 2002 gospel meeting to feature Jim Smelser

That's not a typo in the headline. Jim, not Tim, Smelser will present eight lessons from the Bible during the week of May 5 through 10.

Jim Smelser is the father of our regular evangelist, Tim Smelser.

Jim's lessons will give reasoned answers from the Bible to questions Christians and non-Christians alike have about faith in God and the trappings of other religions. Here's the schedule:

Thursday, May 9, 7:30 p.m. -- Is Meditation the Path to Enlightenment?

Friday, May 10, 7:30 p.m. -- Who Is Jesus of Nazareth?
