Evangelist Tim Smelser begins his work at Traders Point

As planned, evangelist Tim Smelser began his work at Traders Point on Sunday, 10 June 2001 with the Sunday morning sermon. He has quickly become fully involved in the work of teaching. Aside from taking on preaching duty, he has also taken over the What Is Written radio program and writes an article for each week's The Parchment. He has been working with various Bible study classes, filling in for Bible study teachers when they must be away. He also played a key role in the success of our Vacation Bible School in July, and taught one night during Vacation Bible School at the Danville Church of Christ in early August.
