A busy May: A new trimester begins, a series of lessons on the Beatitudes is offered, and our new preacher visits

The first two weeks of May will be especially busy and, we hope, fruitful, at Traders Point Church of Christ.

A new Bible-study trimester begins Wednesday, May 2. In addition to classes for children ages one and up, we're offering adult Bible studies in Hebrews and in Exodus. The beginning of a trimester is an especially good time to join us in our studies.

Next, Ray Castillo will visit us. He'll preach on Sunday, May 5, at our regular meeting times of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. We'll also meet Sunday for Bible study at our usual time of 9 a.m.

Brother Castillo will then present a special series of lessons about life principles found in the Beatitudes, which are a series of blessings included in Jesus's Sermon at the Mount. He'll present this series of five lessons from May 7 through 11 at 7:30 each evening.

Finally, Tim Smelser will visit us on Sunday, May 13, and present lessons at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Brother Smelser will become our new full-time preacher in June (MORE INFO).
